CSIO Tabletop LL 14-15/10/4444 BCCC

15/10/4444 is the Coming of Age (18) day for the Invincible Overlord's eldest daughter, the fair Princess Shaedra, with a special performance at the Patrician Theatre and many celebrations throughout the city.

Being a partial and inaccurate account of events...

The PCs, three pirates - a huge Fighter and two Antillian Magic-Users - and their local guide Dexter the Thief were looking for their missing Pirate Captain Horaja, who'd gone off four days ago with Queen Ehlissa's Magical Nightingale, loot from their last conquest. At the Silver Eel, in between dealing with goblincidal dwarf and hitting on the bellydancer Djela by the Fighter and a local artist, Alyx, by Dexter, they heard a rumour that the Captain had gone to Naughty Nannies and that a basilisk had been wreaking havoc there, so they recruited a bunch of three drunken Tharbrian barbarians and two pig farmers to fight the basilisk and get the reward for killing it - amazingly the Tharbs and yokels defeated the cockatrice without losses (though one yokel KO'd the other with his pruning bill), only for the brave NPCs to be Sleeped by the pirate Magic-User PCs so they could take all the reward money for themselves. Approximately while that was going on a Thief PC tore himself away from his new artist girlfriend long enough to sneak upstairs in Nannies and find the drugged, sleeping daughters of a gate guard captain...
Madan Omelrantra woke up the Tharbs, who chased the PCs into the sewers, but they escaped via the cellars of the Theatre. Returning next night with an army of pirates they managed to rescue the captive twins and kidnap Madam Omelrantra, though four pirates who'd already got in with the Nannies had their throats slit, and one PC had to jump through the glass window to escape the angry albino guards.
