9-12/8/48 Stonehell - Dragon & Prisoner
A group of adventurers including the dragonborn Talaxakan and Rockhouse the Tharbrian return victorious from Stonehell level 5 to Selatine with packs bulging with coin (4000-5000gp each!) and a captive held by the dragonborn warrior Konrad. The Vrilya Saralya, who Vuthrik the Deathwalker insists be deposited in Lady Vex's prison cells (Konrad wanted to keep her for himself). Apparently the adventurers killed a black dragon in Stonehell, Song of Night Screams, and took his vast hoard, but had some trouble on the way out with Vrilya demanding a 'toll' - they killed 6 Vrilya soldiers and captured their leader. They return for the next two days, until the hoard is pronounced cleared - others had apparently been at it in their absence.
Lady Vex allows Konrad to swear allegiance to her, be 'knighted' (a Nerathi notion) and to acquire the villa next door to that of Vizier Mordred - all for 5,000gp, which will certainly aid the Vex coffers.
Dr Rosa the Sage however is troubled by the news, for this may well endanger continued use of the Efah-Soom teleportation chamber to reach level 9. She seeks a consultion with Vizier Mordred.
