joriandrake: Prisha smiles at her. "My people are helping with troubles, both bodily and mental. We seek to help both the rich and poor, which often caused problems in our own caste system, but the slums improved a lot due to it. Love for others as for yourself is important, and knowledge of the wrold is to benefit us all, not just a few."
Smon: Mealia nods seriously.
Smon: "I am not rich... But neither am I poor. Is it possible your goddess would help me?"
Smon: She sips her wine and sighs.
joriandrake: "There are some who think being a courtesan is a disgrace, and might be mistreated. We believe it is also one way for healing of body and soul." Prisha listens to Mealia and holds her hand above the table. "What can I help you with my child?" It may be strange to hear Prisha say this, as she's very young herself, but as she got asked for help whe now acts as a Priestess.

Smon: Mealia smiles slightly. "I have heard of places where slave women are kept in pens, to be treated like pigs! ...But this is not that kind of place at all. I am a free citizen of Capricia. Why, I could ring that little bell, and guards would rush in to defend my honour!" She smiles mischievously.
Smon: Mealia looks down now, seeming hesitant. "Mistress Prisha, what does your Faith say of a woman's love for another ...woman?"
Smon: Mealia clasps Prisha's hand, looking into her eyes.
Smon: "There is a... someone... but I..."
joriandrake: "That is good." Prisha nods. "I have to tolerate slavery as it is part of many lands I crossed, but I personally dislike it." Prisha observes Mealia as she asks the question about love. "Our goddess teaches that life and death is a cycle, usually a man or woman is reborn in a different wirld, but it can happen their new life starts in the same as the other. She has no objection to love betweensame genders, as it may be they were in a past life also husband and wife, or lovers, who just found each other again."
Smon: Mealia nods seriously. "Yes, I see. I... " she looks down.
joriandrake: "If this is about love, then I support you no matter their race, gender, age, or status."
joriandrake: Prisha takes a serious tone however. "Just be sure your feeling is mutual."
Smon: Seeming embarrassed. "It is a human girl - a poor peasant farmer, she lives with her sisters beyond the city wall. Her parents are dead. I..."
joriandrake: "Does she know of your feelings?"
Smon: Prisha crimsons slightly, and shakes her head. "No. I don't think so. I am used to Males, males who come in here and... their interest is easy to discern."

joriandrake: Still seriously Prisha continues. "One can love boys and girls equally, although I myself am not personally experienced in bodily love. What do you wish to do for her, or do you only ask for my advice?"
Smon: "...I met her at the market, selling turnips. I have only spoken with her a few times. Her name is Delanie. A good name. Of an evening she likes to bathe by the riverside, out where the firm swirls round the eastern rocks. I swam with her, when the evening sun lit the waters. We laughed together. But I was afraid to..."

joriandrake: "If you wish to connect with her the first step would be to be brave and tell her about your feelings. Although you should talk to her more, meet her before your revelation. It will help to bond in friendship first, before trying to deepen the relationship." Prisha says
Smon: Melanie: "It has been hot today. I think she will be there this evening. Would you come with me? Perhaps you could tell if she might be ...interested?"
joriandrake: Prisha smiles to support the other girl, give her some courage. "I'm not sure if my present would be helpful, this is your own battle, so to speak, but if you truly wish I can meet her before that, at the market, and drop your name to see how she reacts."
joriandrake: "I don't know how long the market is open today though."
joriandrake: She holds Mealia's hand more firmly "I do think you would best be adviced to ask her at the bath on your own however."
Smon: Melanie nods. "For you to meet her alone is a better idea. Yes. But I think she will have left the market by now. Why don't you go find her by the eastern rocks, down by the river? Sometimes her sisters are there, but usually she is alone. Make friends with her - if you are looking for a guide, I know Delanie has travelled north beyond the hills to her Uncle's steading..."

joriandrake: Prisha considers this. "That would be a good approach, I would indeed need a guide in these lands. Very well then, 'Ill see what I can get to know, but I tell you already ahead of any result that you should still tell her your feelings, even if she might not return them. Love can hurt, but is still best to be openly shared."
Smon: Mealia smiles keenly. "We could all travel north together! I have never seen the Vale..."
joriandrake: Prisha returns the smile. "I would very much like that."
Smon: Mealia nods, taking a deep breath. "If there is any chance, if you think... then I will tell her. But if she would be angry... Some humans think it Sinful, what we discuss. Their god Mitra forbids it."
Smon: She sighs. "And the dwarves... their god Kazadarum says it is a great sin."
Smon: Mealia eyes Prisha and smiles. "I hope that we shall be friends."
joriandrake: "Many gods are strange, but people choose whom to put in their faith, which God or Goddess to follow, just as you or her can decide for yourself if you agree with what their teachings consider sinful. As example there is nothing to stop you from followinh my goddess, if you choose so. Whe would gladly accept you, and be sad if you abandon her. Other gods are less tolerant or forgiving."

Smon: Mealia nods. "You must tell me more of your Goddess. She sounds wonderful."
joriandrake: Prisha smiles brightly. "YOu asked me for help in love matters, and I try my best to help you. As far I'm concerned, we're already friends."
joriandrake: She nods. "Perhaps later, her faith is harder to understand for outsiders, as her faith is based on actions and love, not dictates, strict dogma, or names & titles."

Smon: GM: The late afternoon sun filters in through the green stained glass windows of the little bawdy house. Mealia smiles warmly, clasps Prisha's hand, and bids the young priestess farewell.

joriandrake: It's a beautiful afternoon, Prisha thinks, even the warmth is similar to that of her home town.
Smon: Passing through market streets and store houses, through throngs of brightly garbed Dwarves, Men - and a few Elves - Prisha heads to the eastern gate.

Smon: The day market is clearly packing up now - later the business of the evening will come as the sun sets. Dwarven gate guards nod cordially, leaning on their halberds as Prisha heads out through the eastern gate.
joriandrake: She smiles at the guards warmly as she returns the nod, a local form of greeting and crosses the gate
Smon: Detouring away from the main road, Prisha follows a little trail south-east through tree-shaded farm houses and orange groves to the craggy eastern rocks, that shelter a cove in the great River Northwatch, called River of Visions.
Smon: They say that those who drink deeply of the mineral-rich, foaming blue waters may be blessed with visions of paradise - or madness.
joriandrake: She takes in the scent of the oranges as she passes, and after a short moment of consideration says a short prayer and sips of the water.
Smon: Just under a mile out of town, the trail winds down through the trees towards a sandy beach, rocky crags at either end.

joriandrake: Prisha tries to follow the directions mealia gave the best she can
Smon: Then Prisha sees, much as Mealia promised, the figure of a clearly human female bathing in the waters, hip deep in the foam beyond the shore's edge...

Smon: Two black-bearded dwarves, rough-looking fellows with studded bracers, are creeping towards Delanie from behind her, along the shoreline!
joriandrake: THis is when Prishe steps out, loudly greeting the other girl, acting as if she didn't notice those dwarves, but prepared to fight if necessary. This also gives the dwarves a chance to flee, if they only planned to peek.
Smon: They have gnarled clubs at their belts, one carries a kind of man-catcher - a loop of rope at end of a long pole, that can be pulled tight. The other what look like manacles.

joriandrake: ok, IPrisha assumed to be best to loot that one dwarf before leaving due to it being in the water and might be easy to miss later the correct spot, I release the girl, help her back to her bathing location/clothes

Smon: Her throat & wrists are slightly chaffed, healing word can fix it
joriandrake: "Well, I'ma bit hurt myself, and would like to take a bath...could you please stay at the shore for me and keep watch?" Prisha asks a bit shaken
Smon: Delanie rubs her neck, looking in wonder at Prisha.
Smon: "I... a bath?" She nods.
joriandrake: "we return for your clothes there anyway."
Smon: Delanie nods.
joriandrake: Prisha smiles tiredly
Smon: Both of you are feeling weak on your feet, supporting each other you return to the beach.
Smon: Delanie: "Th-thank you for saving me..."
Smon: She looks over at a dead dwarf floating away on the surf.
joriandrake: You're lucky I came this way after I had a drink with my friend, she pointed to you as a possible guide." Prisha says as she slips out of her own clothes
Smon: "W-who are you?" She watches Prisha undress.

joriandrake: "Don't mind it: It will float down the other way." As she relaxes in the water. "I'm Prisha, a Priestess of Meroya"
Smon: The warm water feels wonderful on Prisha's battered skin.

Smon: Delanie's eyes widen. "No! I never thought of her that way! I mean, she's very pretty - like you... Yes, we played in the surf! It was fun..."
Smon: Delanie looks thoughtful.

joriandrake: Prisha giggles as a child. "I think you two would look cute together, plus she's the one why I'm even here and found you, just don't tell her I mentioned this."

joriandrake: I will tell mealia when alone with her that Delaine might be interested, at the very least she likes her and doesn't have a problem with lesbian relationship
joriandrake: Thanks, I have to say the session was fun and reward of living already enough
Smon: Mealia looks thoughtful. "Well, I'll have time to get to know her! Both of you..." she smiles mischievously.

12/7/47: Prisha buys an actual shield and 2 healing potions, and starts to ask around for how to set up a shrine or temple for her goddess with the help of Mealia and perhaps also Delaine, and if they're interested Prisha helps them become priestesses.
GM: The Capricians advise Prisha to try her luck in the Vale:
"They have need of priests up there. The bandits killed the old ones. And I hear it's safe now, since Hakeem killed all the Bandits. Maybe try Carchimish? That's the big town at the west end of the Vale. They have a King, and all! I'm sure they'd like a Shrine, too."
Prisha can buy her potions & shield.
Delanie: "Carchimish is further than I have ever travelled Mistress Prisha, but if you wish to go there, I will happily come with you. I owe you my life."
Mealia: "Sounds like an adventure!"
GM: Prisha could potentially train her new followers as priestesses, it will take some months at least.
