10/7/47: Well, Shieldbiter, Bill's Dragonborn 17th level Barbarian, survived going up against Matriarx the Dread, black dragon of the Isle of Dread - unfortunately his ship and crew did not, and there's now a very angry huge ancient black dragon hunting the sea lanes...
Result: Esmelo the Drunkard and his boat 'Kraken' lost with all 5 crew; widows inherit 1000gp/200gp each from Shieldbiter's down payment. SB flies north to the jungle coast, taking shelter from the angry black dragon in the lands of the Seawolf Barbarians.
