DESTROYERBILL: theres a powerful abiltey he can use at level 6 he can use an action to regain 18 hp it increases by 3 hp every level

Smon: Looking east down the next set of stairs you see they descend about 15' to end at a door.

Smon: Apart from some weasel tracks in the north tunnel, this area seems dusty and little used.

Smon: into a space about 10' wide n-s, 15' e-w. At the east end a narrow 5' tunnel runs north, while to the west it opens into a chamber perhaps 20' square, with a door at the w end of the s wall.
Keelia: any sign of the thing that smells of putrefaction?

Smon: Damaged furnishings of dark-stained stone litter the chamber and the door to the south, also made of stone, hangs loosely in its frame. The smell of putrefaction is cloying and nearly overwhelming here.
Keelia: Bright Star checks the ceiling absently
Keelia: before drawing her bow and nocking an arrow
Smon: Looking into the chamber you also see an archway at the n end of the w wall to narrow stairs descending.

The central mass is surrounded by massive tentacle-like extensions made of human arms and torsos, 4 of which are currently wrapped around Mordred.
Smon: Danor casts sacred flame at the abomination...

Smon: There is destroyed furniture scattered on the cracked flagstone floor, and in the NE corner a weird sight...

Sandor Sunneson: This place Mordred, it's like a maze, we could call it the Crystal Maze, like there is all these challenges we have to complete. Some of our group have found the going too tough and are out the game too.

Smon: It's attached to the wall, you can't tell how deep it goes. Sandro puts a hand on it. It feels cool.

Sandor Sunneson: If no effects, he'll see if by placing his second hand on it he could affect something,
Smon: Sandro puts his other hand on it - still nothing.
Sandor Sunneson: Sandro will do this for about a minute, and if nothing happens, walk back over to Mordred

chris107: "Watch those doors please sandro. I'll try and identify this magical crystal." M begins his ritual.
Smon: Mordred closes the secret door -from this side it looks just like part of the wall.

Smon: The door opens smoothly into a large square chamber about 30x30 with a matching door in the east wall. It seems empty, but the walls are faced in masonry of a rough dark blue stone held together by nearly black jointing.
Smon: It has a strangely sinister ambiance.

Smon: The light of the sword seems dimmer than usual here.
