A mysterious Skandik elf ranger from Ossary, Kosvar emigrated south upon hearing of rumours that the undead army of the Black Sun would be laying siege to the Wilderlands area. His love of nature and the outdoors made him feel that he needed to play his part against an army that stood against everything he stands for. During the war against the Black Sun himself, he was part of a sabotage team  that carried out attacks against any enemies using stealth and magic. With his longbow expertiese, he was able to take out enemy soldiers by bow shot from distance and then being kept safe by nature.

After the end of the civil war with the Dark Sun, Kosvar settled in the Vale between Carchamesh and Highhaven. During the civil war, he would often been seen in both Highhaven and Carchamesh,  He also became useful to these 2 sides as he was able to provide them with key information about the Dark Sun. Using his camoflage skills, he would often shadow enemy soldiers picking up useful information that they would give away in conversation.

Kolath was looking to send his Daughter to Mara in the hope of finding her a husband. Baltak one of Kolath's senior advisors suggested to him that Kosvar could be of use in this party to ensure that the group get to Mara safely.
